George Schneeman's Collaborative Art

George Schneeman, 1934-2009, lived and worked on New York's Lower East Side and in Tuscany. He created hundreds of paintings and collages with poets Bill Berkson, Ted Berrigan, Michael Brownstein, Tom Clark, Edwin Denby, Larry Fagin, Dick Gallup, Allen Ginsberg, Ted Greenwald, Steve Katz, Lewis MacAdams, Alice Notley, Ron Padgett, Harris Schiff, Peter Schjeldahl, Tom Veitch, Anne Waldman, and Lewis Warsh.
