Painters and Poets Dying To Rest at Green River Cemetery

A= Alfonso, O=Ossorio
At Green River Cemetery there's no river in sight, but what draws pilgrims like me are the graves of Jackson Pollock and his wife Lee Krasner, Hilda Morley and her husband Stefan Wolpe, Frank O'Hara, art critic Harold Rosenberg, and many more. In fact, some wag wrote that this cemetery in Easthampton, NY, is so popular with artists, they are dying to get in.
